Cornstalk steel sculpture! 12/20/14
Kitchen designed and custom built by Chuck Kershner. Bar top and glass panel in front of bar, designed and created by Sue Kershner.
Fused pieces of glass mounted on black powder coated metal at each end.  The middle section is soldered art glass piece with a beveled heron in center of the black powder coated panel.
Pot melt of earth tone colored glass heated to 1600 degrees F was used to create this wall hanging. Powder coated steel base with hammered steel curls run thru the piece.

Hedge wood bench with inlay of Koi fish.  Custom designed and made steel legs.

Kokomo glass was used for this window.  Light and dark green gems with blue and green ripple glass approx 4' x 2' grace this exterior window.
Spider web was created by manipulating metal robs. The fused glass spider is 17 inches long and the butterfly is metal with inlay of glass. Everything is mounted on hedge limbs with spot lights on at night to illuminate the sculpture.
Iridescent  light blue glass butterfly with green and white gems throughout the design with wing span of 28 inches. Fastened to a metal milkweed plant, allowing mother nature to rust it naturally.
This lamp is an original Starlight Studio design. Resin water on  inlayed wood base to place a  prized decoy.  Bar-ins (tm) pins used to hold the buyers personnel collection of duck and goose calls.
Big Eyed Frog.  Flat cobbles used for the body with rusty metal used for the legs.  Glass fused eyes attached to the head bring it to life.
Bubble Trellis has circles attached to the metal frame and powder coated black with fused glass attached in some of the circles.  A variety of butterflies are the theme in the circles with various flowers.  Looking thru the trellis you will see another film trellis with purple iris and hummingbirds.
Blue, white and clear wispy glass accent the wings on this dragonfly.  Metal allowed to rust on the body with a rock for the head.  Over sizes fused glass eyes attach to the head.  The dragonfly is placed on top of a 5 copper catkin, cattail metal sculpture.
Sunflower Film Trellis is the title of this piece.  Six fused sections, look like sunflowers with a purple morning glory vine wrapping around the stem of the sunflowers.
Garden Circles are used inside as well as outside. Black powder coated metal frame with art glass soldered together and attached to the frame.  Textured transparent glass and white gems fill in the 18 inch circle.
Powder coated metal in gray, with hedge limb across the top and copper weave thru, not seen in photo. Two art glass panels call Whispering Willows on each side of the trellis.  In the midwest we remove the glass panels during the winter months.

Glass - Chunk melt birdhouse with section leaves solder for the roof.
Double Dragonfly with blue wispy wings on metal cattail with catkins. As this ages the cattail will rust.
